Texas Instruments used to make a toy called Touch & Discover featuring Disney characters. "Press a picture!" "You found Tinker Bell! (kerching! kerching!)"
RadioShack used to make Robie the Robotic Banker where one would place a coin on Robie's right hand and he would eat the coin. I bet the reason it was retired is because people complained that their small children were copying Robie and eating coins.
Milton Bradley made this game called Splat! where one would splat bugs molded out of Play-Doh in a Bug-O-Matic and I bet the reason it was retired is because people complained that the game was violent.

The Robot and "Splat!" I remember fondly :smile: I thought I was one of the few who knew either or both - to such an extent that I didn't imagine they'd be mentioned here! :super:
