On TV Land I was watching the re-runs of The Flip Wilson show, always liked it as a kid, and two episodes I saw were with the Muppets:

The first one was with Ernie and Bert singing a song with Flip, don't know what it was.

The second, Flip was singing a different version of 'Consider Yourself At Home' with two anything muppets.

Did you guys see any others?

I LOVE the Anything Muppets, so do you recall what the two AMs in the skit looked like?

Thanks for all your help!

I think one of them was orange with a tuft of hair and the other was the pointy headed green guy. But I'm not sure, this was a few years back.

I think the Flip Wilson Show was also the first show to feature Oscar with green fur.

Man, I wish I had these clips.

I don't know if you get TV Land, but if so, check the listings for Flip Wilson, you may by chance come across one of the shows.

I don't have cable or satellite, so the best I can do is trade with somebody.

Muppets go to Hollywood

TV Land ran a Flip Wilson marathon last year, and there was also an episode where Susan and Big Bird appeared. Susan had a big musical number where we got to count to 20, and Big Bird, Flip, and I'm trying to remember his other guest star, all joined in. Susan was joined onstage by two female backup singers who called themselves Saturday's Child (perhaps an inspiration for Destiny's Child a generation later?) It was a wonderfully trippy moment for all concerned. :flirt:  :sing:

LOL! Yep, back then in that time period there were many 'trippy' skits on these shows.
