The freedom to debate publicly in the above fashion without penalty of any kind is one of the privileges our people fight and lay down their lives for.
Understand that the terrorists immerse themselves in the study of Nazi methodry and philosophy and will not hesitate to employ them upon the Western world given a chance.
We are under the gravest of threats, and my gratitude goes out to every person around the world working against that threat on our behalf.
Freedom is not free. It is a privilege to be cherished, and sometimes must be fought over, to protect and preserve.
The good work continually taking place in Iraq is sadly overlooked. The re-establishment and equipping of schools formerly used as arsenal caches, the modernization of public utilities, the writing of a constitution and inclusion of women in the new government, the knowledge that your hands will not be chopped off for disagreeing with the government and your reaction to your missing hands when you awake being videotaped for that government's entertainment - the list is long and should be acknowledged.

A very good point. On the other point ya made, it is a sad world we live in when Tom Clancy super villians and the stuff that used to just be wild hollywood summer movie fodder is our new reality. My big thing tho is sometimes it feels like this administration doesnt carefully weigh everything before acting.
