And thanks to the late, great Don Sahlin.

Bet we didn't think about him, did we?

I appreciate and admire their sense humor and the rapports they had/have with each other. I love old sketches with Jim, Frank, Jerry, and Richard from Sesame Street where they're goofing around in the background and making jokes that the kids watching would never understand.

I like their talents and friendliness. They really DO care about their fans, and are very hands-on (forgive the puppetry pun) in communicating with the fans. It isn't always a form letter you get!
They are incredibly friendly, kind, and patient with fans. All the correspondence I've had with them (especially with Dave and Jerry) has shown that they really put time and thought into their responses. They don't just brush you off as a silly fan.

I agree. I don't think they realize how much of an influence they've had on people.

Dave Goelz said, "The public interest always surprises me. I come to work in these rooms with no windows. At night I go home. I just live my life. I guess I just don't think much about whether people are going to watch."
