One of the gutsiest things he ever did was appearing on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and singing an anitwar song "Waist Deep In the Big Muddy", where he practically calls President Johnson a pig. I wonder if anyone could get away with that today.

Oh no! Nononono! I am late and I been bombarded by school and stuff, but I did hear last week and I felt crestfallen by the news of him. I thought at first that this was a joke. It's not!

The first song I have heard in my entire life was "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?" That was thr first song I ever heard of even when I was very young. He was a good singer, but he was an amazing songwriter. He had a very good long life. He's gone, but his songs and his music plus his legacy will live on forever.
