Yup, when I first saw the real Andrews Sisters, my first thought was TMGTTM and the "Apple Blossom Time" song.

I think they may also have served as a little bit of inspiration for Sesame Street's Oinker Sisters. (Yeah, i'm sure they were first supposed to be a take-off on the Pointer Sisters but they soon started to mimic the Andrews Sisters especially in Boogie Woogie Piggies.)
