Aww...I always really like Jerry. And then when I connected, even as a kid) that he was Dick’s brother, I thought, “Man, what a talented pair”. I wish I could have seen them work together more. Apparently they used to do a 2-Man Show together.

He was just on the last week's episode of The Middle where he played Mike Heck's father Big Mike, and a subplot involved him wanting to die next to a tree where he and his wife first shared a kiss. Very eerie.

And please, for the love of God, stay alive, Dick! Don't pull a Debbie Reynolds on us! :frown:
That wasn't Jerry Van Dyke. That's John Cullum. He plays Mike's dad. Jerry Van Dyke plays Frankie's Dad on the show but it's still sad.
