A bunch of us were discussing this yesterday. One Day at a Time was a great show (one of Norman Lear's most underrated), Valerie Bertinelli was quite a hottie, but some of us absolutely HATED the theme song.

But Bonnie and company addressed a lot of the hot topics of the day in a way that hit the mark, without being preachy or schmaltzy when they were later attempted on Diff'rent Strokes or The Facts of Life.

That's all true. The world is completely different without Bonnie. :frown:
