I guess death has to ramp up before 2016 is over, because now Bernard Fox has died.

This guy was like the ultimate character actor in the 60s, it was on so many different shows as different characters - I always remember him first and foremost as Dr. Bombay from BEWITCHED, but he was also Malcolm Merriwether from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, Colonel Crittendon on HOGAN'S HEROES, and I know he's made guest appearances on other shows like I DREAM OF JEANNIE and THE MONKEES, and even later in the 70s, he made a guest appearance on M*A*S*H. He was also the voice of the Rescue Aid Society's Chairman in THE RESCUERS, as well as the Australian doctor/surgeon in THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER. He also was in TITANIC as well.

Gee. This 2016 has not been a good year for celebrities. But then again, neither were 2008 or 2009.
