R.I.P. Abe Vigoda

The actor best known for his roles on Barney Miller and Godfather (and to younger audiences, in the Good Burger movie as well) has passed away peacefully at 94. All those running gags about him mistakenly being dead can finally be put to rest.

Abe Vigoda was the definition of "Old School". He made it cool to be a gritty gumshoe cop. He made it cool to be a mob boss. He even made it cool to have hemorrhoids.

His spin-off from " Barney Miller", "Fish", also starred a young Todd Bridges to liven things up.

I still refuse to believe that Abe Vigoda is dead. If anything, I don't believe he died at all, I'm betting he was probably assassinated . . . and I bet Frank Stallone did it - you know how he hates Russians.
