On the topic of Muppet Performer sound-alikes, I swear one of the P-Pals from the old 1990s PBS logos sounds like Jerry Nelson. That character Pete, the host of the PBS skit, "Check it Out". He first shows up in this clip at around 0:12. There's probably some better quality clips of "Check it Out" on youtube, but this is the only one I could find.

Wait a minute, this is a questions discussion. So, does anybody think this guy sounds like Jerry Nelson?

Yeah he does... and now, for the two-dollar question: am I the only one from my generation who actually WASN'T a fan of those 90s PBS Kids indents?
