Y'know, Faux News is a channel specifically for Republicans to boast about how great they are while spreading propaganda and lies about Democrats . . . so how come there's not a channel specifically for Democrats to do the same to Republicans?
Because Democrats and liberals aren't as marketable. Sure, MSNBC was mentioned, but it's never going to have the sheer influence of Fox and Fox Business (which is somehow more conservative). I've been saying this for years, anti-Bush books went straight into the humor section of a book store while anti-Obama books were always in the news section. That's partially because there's no editorial section in book sellers, to be fair.
Look. A left wing talk radio station went belly up during the Bush years. The right still listens to the same carnival barkers who couldn't stop talking about how great the Iraq war is and some that still are. There
is a mark bias. Not to say their isn't somewhere a left bias, it's just going to be in the form of ranting in entertainment. To which those who watch biased news channels, listen to bias radio, and read biased literature will whine about how movies and TV shows don't agree with them and act like they're the victims.
That said, there are some shows that are more even handed and go after both sides, but mainly focus on unreasonable arch conservative beliefs.
And of course, they're
comedy shows. And, unlike Fox News, younger left of center types don't watch these to keep informed. They watch it to keep
sane. Jon Stewart left the game just in time. You can tell even he had enough by the time he decided to leave. In other words, he got
pretty darn angry.
