When recording something on film, you would say you're, "Filming," when recording something on tape, you would say, "Taping,", so what do you say when you record something digitally? "Digitallying"?

Depends...

If you are recording something from the tv to a dvr, you can say "recording," "taping,
or "DVRing." If you are recording something from a cd or dvd onto your computer, you are "Copying" or "ripping"

Or were you being sarcastic? My sarcasm detector is busted :stick_out_tongue:

I mean like when you're shooting something for a movie, or a TV show, or anything like that... y'know, 'cause, like, nobody uses film or tape anymore these days...

And yes, I was being half-sarcastic. :stick_out_tongue:

Why is it when you say "This person has an attitude", or "That person copped an attitude", the attitude is always negative?

Personally, I'd always like to have Jim's attitude.

I'm genuinely curious about something...

Like hardware and software for XP and earlier aren't compatible with 7, are hardware and software for 7 not compatible with 8?

As much attention to detail that goes into the animation in anime movies and shows, why is there's practically no lip chart animation, and all the characters just basically open and close their mouths in a generic manner to speak, like, I don't know... puppets? Is that to make it easier to dub them in other languages or something?

Unlike Western animation, the voice work is done after the animation is complete. That's just the way they do things.

In one episode of Hey Arnold, Helga wins a free dinner at a fancy restaurant, but after (or is it during?) their meal she finds out that she went to the wrong restaurant, and ends up getting out of it (before Arnold convinces her otherwise) by calling Nadine and asking her to infest the restaurant with her bugs. When she does, a cop or health inspector tells her "if I were you, I wouldn't pay my bill."

Now, in real life, if a restaurant got shut down while customers were eating, would they be excused from paying for their meals? Ditto for if the place catches fire before a customer can pay.
