Why is Thanksgiving early this year?

I was wondering the same thing, myself.

Thanksgiving is always the fourth Thursday of the month...it can end up anywhere from the 22nd to the 28th.

I always thought it was the last Thursday of November.

Which leads to another holiday question. How is it decided when we have Easter?

No, it's the fourth Thursday.

Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox (March 20 or 21).

It's just that I always accidentally click on the wrong one...

Luckily I can just close the window that pops up
