Question regarding the Vincent Price "Muppet Show" episode

I have a question regarding the Vincent Price episode of "The Muppet Show":

In Vincent's closing number "You've Got a Friend", one of the monsters that appears in the background on the right side of the organ is skinny, purple and looks like a cross between a dinosaur and a snake.

Who is that character?

Could that possibly be the "Great Santa Claus Switch" frackle that morphed into Lenny the Lizard?

I think it is, since that frackle has some of Lenny's physical traits (yellow eyes, pointy mouth, small fang-like teeth, etc.)

Why didn't they just use Lenny? He's often seen with the frackles/monsters and it's pretty strange that they would re-use a previous incarnation of a puppet after building a new version of it (one example would be in the Edgar Bergen episode--when Gonzo walks backstage after his brick-wrestling act, he appears in his Season One style, even though Gonzo already started evolving).
