I was wondering, The Muppets Tonight only aired for one or two seasons as far as I know, does anybody know why?

It was taken off due to ratings. Of course, you can't expect that over twenty years, plus the passing of Jim and Rich, it's going to be the same as the Muppet Show. People have set high expectations for all our friends and since they didn't meet their expectations, they were asked to leave. I do admit, though, they should have kept to the same format and do what they could to keep our friends on while adding on characters, not replace them. That kind of hurt for me to see some of our characters put on the backburner. Don't get me wrong; I love Johnny, Pepe, Bobo, but some others shouldn't have been seen in the public eye, and I think you guys know who I'm talkin bout

Wow, really? Man, that bites. But I can understand what you mean about the characters.
