Greetings to all from the Count! Got a question for whoever can answer it, nudge nudge to you truly dedicated Muppet fans. At the beauty pageant held at Bojin County, what was the title of Elliot Gould's character? The character's listed as "Bojin County Compere" at www.imdb.com, but after looking up the word "compere" it translates from French into English as "accomlice." So just what was the title of Elliot Gould's character in TMM? Thanks for your help and have a good night. And please reply ASAP cause I need this one for my Muppet Listings!

It was Bogan County.

He was an emcee of the Beauty Pageant; why they called it compere I have no idea.

Kevin, thanks for answering, but did you mean to say "MC" as "Master of Ceremonies"? Just asking cause you typed up "emcee" and I'm not sure that's a real word. Also, are you sure the town's name was "Bogan County"? Just want to make sure to correct the entry. Please reply and thanks for your help. Have a good weekend.

MC is short for Emcee, which is a master of ceremonies--or versa-vice!

Bogan County is the county, not the city. Cities are parts of counties here.

Like Memphis is in Shelby County, Tennessee.
