1) Real TMNT fans *love* the mid to late 80's TMNT, loved the first film, but hated everything that came after...but love the new TMNT series.

2) Transformers fans; most fans are generation one(the way it should be)

3) I cant speak for anyone else, ,but me?
Speaking strictly on the films, like Star Wars, th eoriginal trilogy is golden. I personally didnt care for Caper, ,but I consider Muppets Taken Manhattan and Muppet Movie some of my all time fave films.
MFS is bright, colorful cheery...but MFS, Grouchland, MTI, KSY and even VMC I have my harsh criticism for.
Hopefully JHC uses my ideas of doing a really innovative new film(director, cinematography wise, etc) JHC have it in them to make a Muppet film that can TRULY appeal to all ages like th efirst one, ,and get out of this toddler only quagmire the aformentioned movies fell into.

No you see, I LOOOVE GMC!!! It is, in fact, JUST behind TMM for my favorite Muppet movie! MTM is actually NOT one of my favorites, but I still love to watch it...Hmmm....I liked MTI, but not as much as MCC....VMX was good...The Muppets were excellent, the people sucked, (I say that, and I usually LOVE Joan Cusack), and MFS.....Well....I was upset by the lack of music, and the 2nd half was pretty bad, but I enjoyed the first half a great deal! (Sometimes I watch MFS and stop it right before it gets to C.O.V.N.E.T!!!!) I noticed nobody mentioned KSY....Quite possibly the ONLY Muppet movie I could ever say I REALLY didn't like! It was...OK, and it would've been good by any other standards than the Muppet standards. I guess I was just....Dissappointed. But, notice I NEVER said I HATED any of them....The Muppets have never actually done something I couldn't find SOME redeemable value in! (Course, I also haven't seen Kermit Unpigged, which I hear is deplorable!) But still, the classic stuff is the best....But I still hold out hope that the Muppets could surpass ALL expectations, if given a chance!!!!

man, that is complete BS!

if it weren't for the original cartoon show, I don't think TMNT would be as popular as it was (I know, I'm an example, thanks to that cartoon show, I now love all TMNT!) Same thing with Transformers, if it weren't for Beast Wars, TFs wouldn't (most likely) not have made a comeback, nor would many people of the "later scene" wouldn't have known about Transformers (I'm an example of that too! , oh sure I kinda remember watching the older cartoon when I was younger but BW got me hooked!)

Oh, and about my BS comment, it wasn't complete BS, I guess that way I'm reading it is in a kind of negative frame of mind (since that's been my experience)

I think The Great Muppet Caper is my favourite, I love anything muppet really but I like that the most and the other 2 movies would be a tie for me. I liked Muppet Treasure Island but its not my favourite as Jim Henson wasn't involved but it was a nice movie.

Whilst It ain't my Favourite, I liked KSY, It was V cute and had nice touches to it.
IVMMCM was fanatstic, it showed a lot of humour and thought which i felt really worked.
