I noticed that all of the male Fraggles in this episode were performed by Dave Goelz; anybody know why?

Oh, just my intuition. Like many Muppet junkies, I, too, can tell what Muppeteer performs each character.

Dave didn't perform all of them. Steve did Marlon (and Wembley), Jerry did Gobo, and John Pattison did Henchy.

It did sound that way the first time, but I doubted that he performed all of them. Did he voice most of them, though? I know he at least voice Matt and World's Oldest, but who puppeteered either one when they were both on the screen?

He was Boober, Matt, and the World's Oldest Fraggle. Three of the main characters in the episode including two of the suspects.
