Question about Dr. Teeth's Change of Wardrobe

When did Dr Teeth update his outfit? It must have been done in two stages, as I noticed in the subway poster to promote Muppets Most Wanted, he had his new grey metallic hat on, but still his blue and red stripe skivy. Now he has a black and white stripe coat.

When disney bought the Muppets in 2004 they updated it around 2006/07 but they do use his old one as well
