Question about armslength kit

I have an armslength kit that I'm trying to put together, but I have some questions and I can only reach David by snail mail, so I'm hoping someone who has completed the kit can help me out. The photocopies that came with the kit make it hard to determine just how the mouthpiece goes together. The directions say to round off the edges of the "1/2" ethafoam insert" with a razor blade. -- the only kit part that we have that could be that piece is a one-third slice of a yellow foam ball. Is that the part? It says not to trim it too much. How much is too much, or is it already trimmed?? Also, our directions came with two copies of the page on eyes, but no directions for a nose. Am I missing the nose page, or wasn't there one? I would appreciate any tips you can share! Cp

My keyboard is goofed so I'll have to make it short but I believe at one time David used ethafoam for the spacer but may have found the practice golf ball half easier or maybe cheaper than ethafoam. I think the half ball makes a better grip. There is no directions for the nose because each puppet can and should be made a little different. Noses add alot of character. I just played around with trimming a little off of the ball for the spacer at a time and setting it in place without gluing anything to check for the fit. You might have to trim a little more for pattern C than the others. The nose is pretty much up to you. You might op not to give it nose but i believe he supplied you with enough extra fleece for a good size snoz if you so choose. There are great pictures that were taken of how the mouthplate goes together in the forum if you do a search. I type all this with the On-Screen keyboard which is kinda time consuming:stick_out_tongue: Hope this helped.
