Chino, are you saying that you think the swearing covered inadequacies in your work, or that you worry that you might use it that way?

Also, I would consider it a shame if, as it sounds, you're changing the show based on criticism of the language you used. I can certainly understand toning it down if you're trying to make it more accessible, but if you feel strongly that it belongs in the show, that it contributes vitally to the show, then you should keep it in. If you agree that the swearing is out of place, though, rip it out.
