Puppeteers (and other performers) needed in Branson

Talent Auditions Branson, Missouri Silver Dollar City Attractions is searching for professional performers to fill openings for our spectacular 2006 show packages! More than two million guests will see over 200 performers entertain in seven different mainstage theatres at Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson Belle and Celebration City in 2006. If you are a talented SINGER THAT DANCES, ACTOR or VARIETY ARTIST, have stage experience and are interested in having the performance experience of a lifetime while working with Branson's most experienced production company, WE WANT YOU ON OUR TEAM!!! Audition Guidelines: Actors: Prepare a family-oriented comedic monologue. Theatre movement, singing and storytelling skills are a plus. We are looking for Energetic and Fun personalities with strong improvisational skills. Singers: Please prepare a 2-minute up-tempo song and ballad that best describes your vocal ability. Please provide sheet music in your key or a CD/Cassette accompaniment tape. A pianist and CD/Tape player will be provided. NO A CAPPELLA AUDITIONS ARE PERMITTED. Dancers: Dancers will be given a dance combination and will be required to prepare a short vocal selection. A strong background in ballet and jazz is required. You may also be asked to display any of your gymnastic or acrobatic skills. Please bring appropriate dance attire. Variety Artists: Show us something that would a family-oriented audience. (We especially want to see outstanding Jugglers, Puppeteers, One-Man-Bands, Street Magicians, anything fun!) General Guidelines: All auditions are limited to two minutes in length. You must be at least 18 years old to audition. Non-US applicants must have proper working visas. Weekly salaries start at $500 and up, and are based upon the performers experience and position.
