Hello All,
Its been a long time since I have been back on the forum. I started my own company and have had very little free time since.
Here is the deal. I am currently working on a very special TV series. It calls for 2 Crazy Parrots that live in the parrots nest... its like a crows nest...but inhabited by parrots.
We are shooting test footage in Late June.( in raleigh NC) I am looking for someone who can build the puppets and... if possible ( but not a deal breaker) perform one of them. ( strong sense of humor and timing needed)
The Parrots are residents of a ship, sailed by the GeoPirates. if interested, Please watch the 11 minute character study at www.thegeopirates.com. It will give you a good sense of what the show is and the style.
The parrots names are Ploom and Monty.
Are you interested. Here is what I would need to know.
A. How much would you charge me? Be Gentle...it isnt sold yet. But I also dont want anyone losing $$ over it.
B. Are you Available to be in Raleigh, for at least a day or 2 between June 16th-24th
C. Pictures of the puppets you are most proud of. Links to some of your work.
