Renaissance Artist Puppet Company in PA is looking for an Intern again (from the PofA Board):
Renaissance Artist Puppet Company, based in Norristown, Pa, seeks an intern/understudy. We are looking for a woman but will consider male applicants who have a good range of character voices. This intern will learn all aspects of working with a small touring puppet company and will understudy the parts of Alice from "Alice through the Looking Glass", and Aso from "Ananse and the Sky God". This internship is a 20 hour minimum committment and requires a flexible schedule. Performances are paid, but no stipend. Intern must have reliable transportation. This is a 3 to 6 month internship with a review and option to stay on staff at the end. Standard duties include some office paperwork and research, assisting in the building of props, puppets and sets. Director's assistant on shows that you are not a performer. We work with all styles of puppets and perform primarily full scale theatrical productions in a Manipulation A'Vue style.
