I remember as a child being given a hand puppet that somebody had made from scratch. It was supposed to be Kermit The Frog, but it looked nothing like Kermit. This puppet was a dark blueish green with a great big head made of foam,a big white head of hair on top,Kermit-like eyes made of styrofoam and a Kermit-like collar around it's neck. The only two things I recognized were the eyes and collar.Unfortunately I do not have this puppet anymore. My parents threw it out in later years.

I have gotten a gift like that before....I got it from my grandma...except I got Gizzo (who looked like a moose with green eyes.) and Gonzo (who looked like a pelican because it had a tan nose.) I still have 'em...and they're still ugly. :embarrassed:

I worked at a Historical Park the past summer and I found historical puppets. They're crocheted and dirty.

But they're lovable.. I guess.

They don't have working mouths or anything really. Just two arms. haha
