Fabric, Scissors, Hot Glue, Feathers, Construction paper, balsa wood,Plastic spoons....
It's a bit of a loaded question, unless you start with some specifics of what you want.

it really depends on what type of puppet you are making, you can really use just about anything and its ecpecially good to do this when you are learning so you can use cheap items rather than the proper stuff. Most muppet style puppets are constructed out of Scott foam.

I use old (but clean) matrasses and glue two parts together and cut put a square block and then carve a head out of it. Then I 'just add some fabric'. Not that I have been very succesfull so far. But what can I say? I just screw everything up alot. It's what I'm good at. I still have a few matrasses though so I can experiment all I want with them.

I'm also very bad with product names. Like 'ultra polytheen' or whatever :stick_out_tongue: see what I mean? I don't even know what it is called. Or what I mean for that matter. And even when I look it up I forget easily. Usualy I just go to a store and describe to them what I need. Sometimes the store owner even comes up with something you never thought of yourself. Just keep checking tutorials and write down the names or something.
