Hey Guys, any know what kind of upright piano rowlf used in the muppet shows? Was that custom made or is there a builder? I think it has 33 keys from what I can count.

I think most of the time they used a full-scale piano (I don't know this for a fact, but it looks that way). There used to be a very cool video tutorial on YouTube explaining how to make a realistic piano for puppets, but I can't seem to find it now.

I know someone started giving instructions to make a Palisades scale upright piano for Rowlf, but they never finished it and werent giving detailed instructions.

well what I can see on the old muppet shows when he plays the upright one. it is about one third of the regular keys. I think its like 33 instead of 88.

Old play pianos are about 30 but the frame is smaller. they must have been custom
