Hi! I need help!! I have all these cool puppet designs--
And I can't make the proffesional Muppet type puppets
that I want! I saw some of the puppets you guys make,
and it matches the axact kind ofstuff I dream of making!
I try and try, but it never (*ahem*) comes out right. I was
hoping you can give me tips. Or maybe you can give
me steps for the designs I can E-mail you (I'm trusting you).
Please post ASAP!!!! I'm-a waitin'!!!:excited:

but I'll draw them on the computer then find a way to put

Okay, first, which muppet you want to make...............then we can get down to business. Begin by getting all the possible photos of your puppet that you get your hands on. Then you will need to make some drawings of the mouth.................these will need to be in scale with the real puppet's mouth which can be difficult to do unless you know something about it's real life size........for example what kind of eyes it has "ping pong balls" etc...........and does it have real hands like "Beaker" That makes it much easier to scale ..............etc.....

Okay! First I wanted to make either a dog puppet (rod arm)
or a monster puppet (maybe a Frackle)
WAIIIIIIIT.... I want to make a live-hand Frackle!!!
He can be like just like that blue one.(Bo?:confused: )

Try to start simple, and learn how to make basic puppets. As you learn new skills you will be able to build more advanced puppets.

There are many books available on puppetry, check your local library. Good luck, and HAVE FUN!:smile:

I assume that you are just starting out. Perhaps I am wrong to assume that.

By learning to make basic puppets, you will develop your puppet building skills. Even if it's not exactly what you expected, at least you learned something to apply to the next puppet.

What sort of puppets are you building?
