Got the video today! Very excellent! Kudos to Dave and Play Soup. The method outlined in the video is a traditional patterning method (in fact, it's the method we use at Project Puppet) with some twists on technique that reflect Dave's personal style.

If you want to start patterning your own puppet characters and don't know how to go about it, I would highly recommend it!

Just again wanted to say I believe that Playsoup's video is one of the best things lately to come out for beginning puppet builders. A few years ago it was Pannabecker's puppet video. Here lately Project Puppet has brought out some great things for us puppet folks. Now this! I think for someone who is looking to get into puppet design and construction, we have some really professional resources that could help. I think anyone who is looking to start should visit these three places and make the investment. (INVESTMENT) It is money worth spending!!!
