So I've gone to chapters and Indigo in search of a Puppet Magazine but i've had no luck in finding of interest ( there is one called Puppetry but it was not the kind of puppets i was looking for)

Is there a such thing as a puppet magazine with interviews on puppet builders, up and commers ..what's new etc etc..basically i just want to know if there is a magazine that exist that is like that?

I've notice there is alot of people here who are always update like Buck beaver i go to his site every day to see what's new with puppets and i usually use his recommended links to see what those guys have to say or see what they are up too..

Chino, if you go to the World's Biggest Bookstore downtown they carry Puppetry International, but it's not always in stock because UNIMA-USA only publishes it two or three times a year. The best way to get it is probably just to get a UNIMA-USA membership and subscribe to it that way it's mailed to you and you never have to search for it.

The only other major puppetry magazine is the Puppetry Journal, which is published quarterly. To get that you have to be a member of Puppeteers of America. The Lillian H. Smith Library on College St. carries it and has a puppetry reference section (you can't check anything out) with back issues of the Puppetry Journal going back decades.

In the UK there is an annual publication 'The Puppet Master', and there used to be Animations (look up back issues in the Journals sections of larger libraries). CineFX also occasionally carries puppet material.

FYI, if you go to the Reference Library in Toronto they have the entire collection of CineFX back issues on the magazine floor.
