So I have been putting lining on all of my puppets the hand isnt rubbung against bare foam and sometimes putting a grip or finger rings inside the lining...does anybody else make a lining? I realized that most people do not is there a reason why?

the easiest way is this: make a tube out of cloth that is longer than your body foam. put it inside of the body and fold the edges around the outside of the body on each end. next, you can either glue those edges down or if you are in a hurry, put a band of duct tape around it lol.
