Hi gang! Here's some info on the upcoming PofA Southeast Regional Festival this year...it's actually in NC (not GA as the thread name suggests)
Anyone plan on attending?

The Asheville Puppetry Alliance and The Carolina Guild of Puppetry is pleased to be hosting the Puppeteers of America's Southeast Regional Puppetry Festival

Hello fellow puppeteers and puppet enthusiasts,
밣uppets on the Ridge?is going to be a great festival. This 4-day event will unite puppet enthusiasts from around the globe with the community of Western North Carolina through performances, historical and contemporary puppet exhibitions, educational workshops, a public parade, a specialized puppetry store, and various outreach activities. The Jim Henson International Festival of Puppet Theatre has granted us funding to expand our programming to the public.
Getting Around: Now don뭪 worry about having to walk all over Asheville ?unless you want to. We have contracted with the Historic Asheville Trolley to take the puppeteers around town. How fun is that!
The Theaters: "Puppets on the Ridge" will feature 12 - 14 different productions covering a range of puppetry styles and representing a mix of regional, national, and international performers. Our host venue is the Diana Wortham Theatre, with smaller shows at ACT, the Artist Resource Center, the Bebe Theatre, the YMI Cultural Center, and NC Stage.
