That's a very open-ended question! There are many, many different kinds of prosthetics, and consequently many different treatments for them.

My personal favorite line of makeups is Ben Nye, and they do have certain makeps for prosthetics. You can request a catalog at their website at www.bennye.com

PAX Paint

Infinity Sirius said:
Does anyone know what paint stays best on prosthetics?
PAX paint was developed by Dick Smith for foam latex prosthetics, to replace castor-oil based rubber mask greasepaints and dangerous toluene or xylene-based rubber solvent paints. It's a blend of Pros-aide (a milky prosthetic glue), and Liquitex acrylic paint. I'm not sure of the proportions used, or the suppliers. A diluted coat of Pros-aide is used to prime the foam surface first, and clear face powder can be used to kill tackiness after drying.
PAX was always used in the Creature Shop when I worked there, though it was never called by that name.
