I came across some info that I didnt know before, some of you might have, but I thought it was pretty positive and encouraging. Turns out the Orphanges brand new department is in charge of the animation and Graphics. This company has a huge resume with some pretty impressive titles (Sin City, Pirates of the Carrabean, etc). They do a lot of works in commercials and stuff like that, they are pretty highly regarded. The are Visual effects specialists...

Heres the thing... The Orphange was founded in 1999 by a bunch of guys from industry giants ILM (LucasFilm company). We all know ILMs graphics department now as Pixar. The Orphange, who specialized in Visual Effects, wants to compete with Pixar animation and hired Genndy Tartakovsky as the president of their new Graphics and Animation department, Orpanage Animation Studios, to help them compete with the best in the business.

What Im getting at is that PotDC will be Orphange Animations Studios debut film and will surely be looking to turn some heads with the release. This wont be a direct to DVD release, no way, I think these guys will want to prove themselves here, they'll be wanting to leave an impression with this film...
