More and more I am thinking I want to add just a few more characters to my Muppets collection other than Sesame Street. I know I keep saying I just want to focus on SS, but I already have Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo and the chickens, and there are a few other characters that I am especially fond of that I might want to include. Only to have a select little group of Muppets characters. I think I may already be getting Pops through a recent (but not yet completed) deal. But I think I may also want Sam, Scooter and Rowlf. And I guess it wouldn't be truly complete without Miss Piggy. I think those are the only ones I would really want right now. I dunno. Just a thought. Maybe I would have those few characters "visit the Street" now and then. lol. Anybody know where/how I could get these characters best? Does anyone have any of these to sell for a reasonable rate? Thanks so much.

Hey... Saw you changed your sig line to a quote from FTB. Might be changing mine too in a bit.

Anyway, to help you out...
For Rowlf, this is rully the hardest decision so let's take care of it first. You could decide to get the Tux Rowlf with Bust of Beethoven from S3, since that'd be a bit easier to get on eBay or through trades with fellow forum members here and at the PT boards. However, if you want the regular version of Rowlf, that one comes with the Backstage playset only available through online retailers at around $60.
Like I said, your call.

As for Scooter, you could get the S3 signature or S8 Movie Usher variant version. Some might have extras and be willing to trade, or you might find 'em on eBay.
Would trade, but like I said, I'm saving my extra S3 Scooter to be turned into Skeeter.

For Sam... There are actually two sig versions released from S8. The difference between signature and Shifty Eyed is well... Shifty Eyed Sam has his eyes turned to the side, along with variations in paint in his accessories. You might be able to find some remaining S8 stock at your local Electronics Boutique or Suncoast stores, not sure about that. Again, hit up the eBay or board members for potential trades.

And Miss Piggy... Well, the version that looks best is First Mate Piggy cause she has the textured skin and a much better look. But that comes with the Swinetrek playset. What you might want to do instead is get yourself the hair-up signature version from S1 with the purple dress and the hair-down EB Exclusive S1 Miss Piggy with the blue dress. Once you got both of those, you could (if you wanted to) open them up and switch their heads. That way the hair-down version's head's on the purple dressed body and she looks a bit better. Doesn't have the textured skin nor fuller body, but it looks more like Piggy.
Hope this helps.
