Oh we soooooooo need to see a comparison shot of you and your Fozzie on Quinnarama.com ! LOL !Originally posted by Gonzo
I have a matching shirt. I probably shouldn't admit that...
Yeah what is it with the photos, they look so different from the actual figures. I know some people say it's just the angle but i'm noticing lighting shadows, and much higher quality paint jobs. I guess they are the two-up scale figures taken extrememly professionally - hey maybe i've just found the reason to buy the Mega's ! LOL !Originally posted by frogboy4
From the picture I would have said the red shirt and green floatie, but I actually think I prefer the blue shirt with the orange floatie.
No, i'm not really saying overall they look better, just different. There are some paint shades that i think have looked better in the photos (for instance the Red in the Vacation Fozzie) than whats made it onto the figures, but at the same time i thought the Red Jacket on Floyd looked far superior in person than in the photos. Overall, yes the figures have looked a lot superior in person. It does suprise me though - you would expect a companies professional publicity photographs to look better than the actual product put out - you'd kinda assume a handpainted, large scale prototype would be of higher quality than mass produced stuff. It's not a criticism just a comment.Originally posted by frogboy4
Are you saying the photos look better than the figures? I totally disagree. I think the figures look so much better in person. That's been kind of a running thing people have been saying around the board for a year. None of my paint jobs look bad as you've said. Maybe the UK gets the first batch before the learning curve. Hmmm
