There goes my knowledge of the solar system. -_-
All those years learning about Pluto...*SIGH*
First, Pluto isn't a planet---bummer---then it is no longer called Pluto...rather...Plutoid.

In my heart it'll always be Pluto. -_-
It used to be my favorite planet, too!
Oh well, now I have to say it's my favorite rock thing....

-_-

"What's your favorite not-a-planet, Claudia?" :3

"Plutoid." -_-

I think they should just give back it's planet name, we've been taught it is a planet for so many years it seems a shame to change it just because of size :stick_out_tongue:

I didn't think that they are changing it's whole name to Plutoid, they are just calling Pluto a plutoid. Just like we don't call Earth 'Planet' :\

Don't be rediculous. Plutoid sounds like something from pluto. That is, if it were able to support life.

I still say this stuff about Pluto not being a planet is rediculous, and they just want to reclasify it as something else just to say they made a shocking discovery.
Agreed, Toothy, it is really, really ridiculous.

Isn't it still called Pluto but it's calssified as a Plutoid instead of a planet? So is the plutoid called pluto?

I think the space program is bored and they desperately need funding from the government to do the things they're meant to be doing!

Yes, it's still called Pluto, but it's a just a rock now, like the ones Charley Brown got on his Halloween candy bag.:stick_out_tongue:
