Please pray for my grandfather, who is slipping more and more as I type. He’s been having lots of problems, but was looking good as of yesterday, then this morning, he fell out of his bed. He had just got out of the hospital and was in a rehabilitation center for only one day. I don’t know how long he was on the floor, but no one called the family and when my grandmother went in early this morning, she found him just sitting in a chair. She saw a big bump on his head. NOTHING was done. She called an ambulance. When he got there, they found out he was bleeding behind the brain. His eye swelled up and turned black and blue, and the other eye is not looking strait anymore. on top of all this, his body started retaining liquid, so much in fact that he has or is getting congestive heart failure and his lungs are filling up (he also had pneumonia) someone had taken or forgot to give him the medication that was keeping this from happening. Hes failing fast and isn’t responding to medication fast enough. I hope I’m wrong, but I don't think he will make it much longer :frown:

What makes me the most angry was this was all preventable, all of it. SOMEONE should have been watching him, who knows how long he was on the floor. SOMEONE should have called for help or at least my family. and SOMEONE should have never taken him off or neglected to give him that medicine.

so please pray for him and my family

Hello, krazedmuppet.

I, too, am very sorry that you and your family are dealing with such an undesirable situation. I must say that you have made an excellent attempt to encourage the prayers and thoughts of many who have and will read your post.

Please keep us informed as to how you and your family are coping. I will pray.

Hope

I understand how it is to watch a loved one suffer for so long.
My grandma is suffering from cancer, so I know what it's like---you don't want to see
them suffer any longer, but sometimes things don't come as you want them to.
And all you can do is just hope, wish that things will get better.

*Hugs Krazedmuppet tightly*

You have my sympathy and understanding.
If you ever feel the need to talk--feel free to pm me.
I know EXACTLY what you're going through.

I take care of my grandmother 24/7 and have gone
to the hospital many times....and I've seen these things.
