Planning a Puppet Building Workshop in WI

Hey everyone,
This summer there is a puppet building workshop in TX. I can't take advantage of that, but it did get me thinking. I really want to learn how to build mechs and create foam puppets from a clay sculpt and mold. I have organized large events before, and I thought "why not organize a puppet workshop here?"

Have any of you ever put together something like this before?
Are any of you very good at building puppets and would like to be considered for teaching a section at such an event?
Would any of you be interested enough to come to such an event if it was in Milwaukee, WI?
How much would be too much to spend on such an event?
