I would say, that Gonzo came from an alien planet whose name is something like Ozgon, nogzo, gozon, zogno, gooz'n, n'zoog, noz'go, or somint like that, considering that they called Ed Zongo...

The computer is called The Al 1995 (and it's abit stupid, it uses a lot of time to figure out what 2+2 is)

There's also an unamed crew member (a pig) in the episode with Jason Alexander.

What about Koozebanians? What are all the different names and types of Koozebanians? Any idea?

Not sure if the 2 aliens from the episode with Jonathan Winters come from Koozebain

Were the names of his family members ever given, and what were they (in a book, script, anywhere)?

The only name I know of is "Ubergonzo", listed in the credits, he is the one that call Gonzo little brother.

Their are the intergalatic fish from Muppets in Space. They are pretty cool, and from Space.

Also Sesame Street has the "yip-yip-yip" Martians (I don't know their exact names, if they even had them), but they were from Mars and were awesome. Also Slimey (Oscar's worm) spent a lot of time in space when he went to the moon.

And their are always the Star Wars parodies aswell.
