I wrote a quick Muppet story here it is

Part 1 — “A Mother Arrives”

[BACKSTAGE AT THE MUPPET THEATER]

Everyone is running around preparing for the show. Props crash. Chickens scatter. Gonzo flies past screaming.

MISS PIGGY sits at her vanity mirror applying makeup dramatically.

MISS PIGGY
Perfect as always. The audience deserves beauty, glamour, sophistication—

(KERMIT rushes in holding a clipboard.)

KERMIT
Piggy, quick heads up—your mother’s here.

(Piggy freezes.)

MISS PIGGY
…My what now?

(The backstage doors BURST OPEN.)

Enter HORTENSE PIGGY, Miss Piggy’s intimidating Southern mother. Massive fur coat. Huge purse. Judgmental expression.

HORTENSE
There she is. My daughter. Still wearin’ enough makeup to repaint a barn.

MISS PIGGY
Mama Hortense!

(Piggy forces a smile and hugs her.)

HORTENSE
Mm-hmm. You look tired.

MISS PIGGY
I am on television.

HORTENSE
Exactly.

(Kermit nervously waves.)

KERMIT
Hi, Mrs. Hortense. Great to see you again.

HORTENSE
You still that frog?

KERMIT
…Yep.

HORTENSE
Huh.

(She walks past him.)

KERMIT
Every time.
