Today’s V/A focus is that famous comedian Phyllis Diller who turned 91 last week. Phyllis has been around for a while and has been known as one of the pioneers of female stand-up comedy, making people laugh at nightclubs, comedy stage shows, movies, and TV shows. Because of health problems in 2002, Phyllis had to retire from stand-up comedy, but still does cartoon voices. Happy birthday, Phyllis Diller.

Phyllis Diller is great! I've always known her for her stand-up, but I had no idea she's done so many voices. That's so cool!

She was also on the Full House episode "But Seriously Folks." I think my favorite performance by her would have to be Great Aunt Mitzi in "Hey Arnold."
