It could be a good idea, considering the DVDs are so expensive and not everyone can afford them.

nice idea i will go and singn this , there is always hope that they can air the Muppet show somewhere i mean Hallmark had it when they where Odyssey and then also for a while when they became hallmark channel .

They really should air it somewhere Disney channel should be airing i think because hey they own it now for goodness sake and also that they had aired the Muppet show there on the Disney channel before .

good idea to try the petition but as some have said they would have to pay Disney big bucks to air it .

they may not be willing to pay it which would be really sad .

Disney needs to air Muppet show and also muppets tonight .

What does TV Land showing That 70's Show have to do with them showing The Muppet Show? Those are two very different shows owned by two different companies. While I agree that I think TV Land would be a perfect place for TMS to call home, I just don't see Disney giving up rights to show it to a station that they don't own. It just seems highly unlikely. :smirk:
Plus That 70's show was not actually made in the 70's.

True but it proves there's a certain demand for retro and nostalgia.

Disney (with the Muppets) and Paramount/Viacom (Tv Land)... I cant see it happening either.

Why not? they're brigning over Scrubs (for no frikkin reason, especially since it works better on Comedy Central anyway) and that's owned by Disney.

I don't see them doing so with the muppet show, but Even Toon Disney airs Warner Brothers cartoons...

I actually like "Third Rock From The Sun", so I'm glad that's coming to TV land. :smirk:

At least that;s been long since cancelled and not shown in syndication for years... not even for rained out Baseball games.

But Scrubs is still on TV, and rerun on countelss other netowrks... that 70's show is just about ALL they show on FX. Why would they need to pollute TV Land with that stuff. no offense, but where's the variety? You just have the same 5 sitcoms over and over. That's not classic TV.
