There has been an outbreak of salmonella traced back to these peanut butters, made by the same people. Any peanut butter with a code starting with 2111 is probably contaminated. :concern: I just saw this on the news. If there is already a thread, sorry:embarrassed:

we have four jars of Peter Pan peanut butter with the code starting with 2111, one of them half-eaten, and no one has gotten sick yet.. but now we're not eating it as a precaution, of course.. and I just bought seven bananas yesterday and have no peanut butter! :grouchy:

Oh, yeah, DUH, I'm stupid. I suffer from memory loss at times :stick_out_tongue: It was me...but I dont want to be called Barrel, Jack sounds better, cause I have Jack as my av :wink:

Yeah, they mentioned it on CNN, and the university clinic sent out a health advisory over the campus network. I don't think a lot of people here are going to be eating PBJs for a bit.
