Pet Peeves, Fears and Hates

In response to the "Obsessions!" thread originally by Fozzie Bear; what or who does everyone hate or just cant be near. Here are mine

Fears:-
*Polystyrene
*Eyes
*Hypnotism
*Being upside down
*Subliminal messages
*Having something spiked

Pet peeves:-
*Bad grammar
*Hillary Duff
*People who think they're funny when they're not

Fears:

Heights. (my mind plays some serious tricks on me and I freak out)

Pet Peeves:
Making coffees and a person (who has no clue how to make an latte) tells me what I'm supposed to be doing)
People constantly touching and grabbing my hair (For those of you with long hair should understand that)
People looking at me like I'm stupid b/c I have a southern accent.

Hate:
Spongebob Square Pants (Sorry guys he just really gets on my nerves)

Ok, I just had to answer this one:

Fears:

*Heights - YIKES! I can't stand being too high off the ground if I don't have any control over it.

*Growing old - Who would want to? I'm a Toys R Us Kid! I fear the age when I can no longer write stores, I love writing!

*Big dogs - Had a bad experience with them when I was a child



Pet Peeves:

*People who shop without their credit cards - This is my NUMBER ONE pet peeve - I work for Macy's and I absolutely hate it when people come in the store and leave their credit card at home. If you are going to shop, bring your card with you! We customer service people have enough to do without having to deal with Account Lookups!! Who do you think you are - somoene famous like Jim Henson that you can shop without your card??? (Sorry but you asked!)

*Sunday drivers - Get into the right hand lane if you are gonna drive 15mph! Grrrr!

*People who think they can budget my money better than I can - ARGH! Go pay your own bills and stop telling me that I'm doing mine wrong- At least they are getting paid!

My fears:

• vertigo
• claustrophobia
• agoraphobia
• crowded,public places
• traffic jams(also a pet peeve too)
• big messes

Pet peeves:

• commercials(majority of)
• telemarketers
• cell phones going off & person takes time answering(or they go off in libraries,hospitals,movies,malls,etc...)
• people who: spit,can't through trash into trash can,empty cigg. full car ashtray in a parking spot,throw cigg. out of car window,spit gum onto sidewalks,talk loud(especially in the movies or library)
• junk mail
• reckless drivers
• people who cut in front of others,in lines
• ignorance
• stupidity
• whiners
• parents who scold/spank children in public
• politics
• being overcharged at the: car dealership,plumbers,etc...
• dogs that are off the leash,or pet owners that won't clean up after them
• drivers who blast car radios
• people who wear headphone,and crank music so loud so everyone has to hear it
• people who say they are going to call you back(soon,later,right away).Ok define what soon,later and right away means to you;because its usually not by standard definition,lol(doesn't mean tomorrow,or 3 days from now)

I hate:

• people calling me sir.I do have a deep voice,but its not so deep you can't tell I'm female.Pulling up to drive-thrus is a pain with that,or on the telephone.Hello sir.I'm a ma'am or miss(ya idiot,lol)
• people calling me Diane.My name is Diana.Either Diana,Dee,Dee Dee,Deanna is fine,but not Diane.Is the letter A so hard to remember?
• especially during the holiday/busy shopping season;people forgetting their money,credit card,check,something.
• know-it-alls
• show offs
• people that just pop up online in IMs,wanting to talk.Ok,hello unless I know you,I'm ignoring you.(That's why my IMS are off).
• people who can't control their temper
• complainers(be blessed with what you have,and that you're alive)

Wow!! I've spoken to someone coulrephobic!!! Go me! Go me!! Did I put down in my orginal post that I was hypnophobic? Yes. Oh, just when I was 6 my dad got hypnotised in one of those cheesy Vegas-style shows, and he wouldnt come round for a long time and I was scared so ever since I've fainted whenever I've seen hypnotism!!

I also have arachnophobia too.Tried watching Fear Factor last night,with a spider challenge,made my just squirm like crazy.(I do love the movie).

I really hate those Outback Steakhouse commercials on the radio too. They sing with really fake accents and I feel I need to be hypnotized... Oh no! Somebody catch Tutter!
But seriously, I know there are a lot of Aussies here at MC and as an American, I know that despite those commercials, you are not cheesy singers and I would consider taking action against Outback Steakhouses if I were you!
