Yeah, I think Adult Swim is going for the nostaglia effect a little. I know they had Saved by the Bell on for awhile too. I for one, loved Pee Wee's Playhouse, although, watching it now I wonder if it really was appropriate for little kids. Maybe it belongs in Adult Swim, LOL. (There's alot of innuendos if you don't know what I'm talking about)

Wouldn't suprise me. I haven't watched this show since I was a kid but i bet I would be able to catch a lot of things that a little kid wouldn't notice now. I liked his movies much better than the show though.

God, I used to love that show, I watch it now and I wonder who thought of this and what they were smoking when they were watching this.

I've been watching the show since it's been on [adult swim] and I've been loving it! I think I used to be a fan back when it was still on the air (but I was born in '88 so I was real young) because I remember Chairy. I love Pee-Wee's Big Adventure though and I've been watching that for a few years now. It's taken a while, but I think I'm used to Globey's new look (that really bugged me when they went from season 1 to season 2 and Globey looked completely different :sympathy: )

Am I crazy or did they cut off half the theme song for the Adult Swim showings?

I have Pee Wee to blame for my longstanding mistrust of guys named "Randy." That marionnette was such a jerk.
