The thing is, they'd need to renegotiate the rights as they were only granted permission for one film. There's apparently a lot of red tape involved. I wouldn't mind seeing one or two more Peanuts films in time if they were able to get Schluz's sons back on board. Just not the extent of Ice Age.

Then again, Peanuts was pretty much the best thing Blue Sky ever did because they just provided the animation. Rio is freaking overrated and not that good a movie, and somehow it was successful enough to get a sequel even fans of Rio didn't like.

Those were announced to air as in between the shows shorts back in November (HEY! When the movie came out) sort of like repurposed Looney Tunes Show songs and Wile E. Coyote segments, the Mixels, and now DC Super Hero Girls.

Then months of nothing until they decided to show it in show length chunks instead.
