I recall there once being a Sesame Street segment where Paul Simon and Ladysmith Black Mambazo (is that the right spelling?) sang a song together. Does anybody know/ remember what the song was? It must have been made around the time of Put Down the Duckie, since Paul Simon and Ladysmith Black Mambazo both appear in that segment, seperately, but also with the same background as each other, and I recall that background being in the segment that I am describing. And I recall them wearing the same clothing as in Put Down the Duckie.

I don't recall ever seeing Paul Simon and Ladysmith Black Mambazo perform together on Sesame Street, although they did appear together on Saturday Night Live in 1986, performing the song "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" from Simon's album "Graceland".
