Actually, it was in 1991 that Great American Communications (who earlier bought Taft) sold Hanna-Barbera to Turner Broadcasting. Nothing to do with Paramount Parks, but I thought I'd throw that in there.

The attractions will immerse guests in the Paramount-branded experiences through a variety of intense thrill rides, water attractions, children’s adventures and multimedia and live entertainment shows. (The Paramount Parks in North America feature popular attractions based on movies and television shows like Top Gun, Tomb Raider, Star Trek and Nickelodeon.)
HEY! Paramount better NOT put iCarly or Victorious in that Nickelodeon area! Nicktoons! Nicktoons! Angry Beavers Log Flume Ride? YES! Wild Thornberrys temple/rainforest themed Funhouse/playground? YES! Rugrats Reptarland-theme carnival games? YES! Slime Water Park? Hmm... Maybe.
